General

Due to the nature of the site, access in general is difficult for wheelchairs; the scooter type with the wider wheels would cope better. The roads are stone chippings to the main touring areas with gravel or grass pitches. The toilets, shop and games room have steps to doorways.

Access to toilets

The top touring area toilets have a small step at the entrance of approximately 4 inches in height the doorways into the toilets are 2 foot 6 inches wide the toilet cubical are 2 foot wide. People with walking difficulties, should be able to walk the short distance from the entrance into the toilets. The tent toilets have a grass entrance to a gravel path. There are 2 steps into the ladies and gents of about 6 inches.

Access to the shop and games room

The shop has 2 steps of 8 inches at the entrance; the games room has one step of 2 inches.

The nearest touring pitches to the Toilets are 17, 1, 2, 19, and 20. Pitch 17 is 3mts. From the gents and 5mts. the ladies from a grass pitch goes onto a concrete/tarmac path. Pitches 19, 20, are 6 mts. Grass to tarmac. Pitches 1, 2, are 15mts. to the toilets. Tent pitches 3, 4, 5, are nearest to the tent toilets approximately 5 mts. away.

Parking is at the unit (one car only)

Guide Dogs are welcome, but must be under control at all times. It should be noted that since this site is No Dogs, there might be users of the park who have allergies or phobias to dogs.
