General
Due to the nature of the site, access in general is difficult for wheelchairs; the scooter type with the wider wheels would cope better. The roads are stone chippings to the main touring areas with gravel or grass pitches. The toilets have steps to doorways.
Access to toilets
The top touring area facilities are accessible via a ramp with hand rails. These facilities have a disabled toilet/shower room. The tent toilets have a grass entrance to a gravel path. There are 2 steps into the ladies and gents of about 6 inches. Grab rails are only available in the top touring area block within the shower cubicles (ladies and gents) and the ladies toilet cubicle.
Access to the shop and games room
The shop and games room are accessible by a ramp.
The nearest touring pitches to the Toilets are 17, 19, and 21 and 2. Pitch 17 is grass pitch that is 5mts. to the tourer facilities building via concrete/tarmac. Pitch 19 is a gravel pitch and is 20 mts. away from tourer facilities building, via gravel and then tarmac/concrete, pitch 21 is a gravel pitch and a further 8 mts away. Pitch 2 is a gravel pitch and is 30mts. to the tourer facilities via short patch or gravel and then tarmac and concrete. Tent pitches 4, 5, are nearest to the tent toilets approximately 5 mts. away.
Parking is at the unit (one car only)
Guide Dogs are welcome, but must be under control at all times. It should be noted that since this site is No Dogs, there might be users of the park who have allergies or phobias to dogs.
